Exploring Chicago in a Day

If you ever find yourself in Chicago here’s how to explore this great city in one day!
  • First, you want to start your day off in Millennial Park where the Cloud Gate which is more commonly known as the Bean before it gets too crowded.
  • Then just a short hike across the way you are at Maggie Daley Park where there is a huge playground and a skating rink that turns into an ice rink in the winter. The park also looks over Michigan Lake.
  • After checking out the gorgeous Lakefront head over to the 360Chicago attraction at the John Hancock building. The view of the skyline is spectacular.
  • For lunch head over to Giordano’s for lunch at the Navy Pier where Chicago’s famous Deep Dish pizza. While at Navy Pier be sure to hop a ride on the Ferris wheel.
  • After Navy Pier, if you are not exhausted there's still the option to  visit the Water Tower or explore the Magnificent Mile.
  • To end your day stop by Portillo's for a Chicago-style dog.
  • If you want there is a Chicago City Pass that includes tickets to the Shedd Aquarium, Skydeck Chicago, and the Adler Planetarium just to name a few.
  • I would recommend rideshare care services, public transportation, or walking to navigate Chicago.
